Who Are We ?

OSEDH (Ô Secours des Enfants Démunis Haïtiens) is a non-governmental organisation which falls under the French law of 1901, which is specialised in the education of children and engaged directly on the field in a very concrete way in the development of schools in rural areas of Haiti. OSEDH is exclusively comprised of unpaid volunteers who are convinced that help to destitute children should not only be deployed in emergency, natural disaster or political crisis but alongside long-term projects, which are implemented in a sustainable way.
Solidarity
OSEDH is a non-governmental structure, governed by the French Law of 1901 and specialised in child education. Our structure is concretely committed to the development of schools in rural areas of Haiti.
Volunteering
OSEDH is exclusively comprised of unpaid volunteers who are convinced that help to destitute children should not only be deployed in emergency, natural disaster or political crisis but alongside long-term projects which are implemented in a sustainable way. Our main goal is to improve schooling conditions of Haitian children who live in disadvantaged areas with no formal education structures.
Education
Our actions are devoted towards the most destitute pupils of Haiti to whom we aim to give a free education and a total autonomy. It is key to allow young children to access education and to perpetuate their schooling and even professional training, in order for them to live a decent life in their region of origin and carry out an economic activity.
